It was through this journey that I also changed my name from Philip to Felipe, embracing the culture that had embraced me. Then, one day, fate stepped in—one of my Uber riders happened to be Latina and a pastry chef. With her insight and expertise, I refined my craft even further. Now, with the seal of approval from Mexican restaurants and the words “pasteles como tu abuelita” becoming a common compliment, we proudly offer what we believe are the best tres leches cakes around.
